PASSPLUS
Pass Plus can prove invaluable to newly qualified drivers in more ways than one. Basically it is a small driving course based over six modules of driving that you can take when you have passed your test. The Modules are:-

- Town Driving
- Driving on Motorways
- Driving on Dual Carriageways
- All Weather Driving
- Night driving
- Out Of Town Driving

An hour is spent on each module and this is normally done in one large batch of six in one day or broke down into two batches of three hours.

It gives you, the new driver, good experience in all types of driving and conditions you will come across, that you may not have done so, whilst learning. It helps create confidence in handling these situations, as well as all aspects of a sustained period of driving.

Inexperience can mean your reactions are up to 2 SECONDS slower than those of a more experienced driver. Pass Plus will not eliminate this inexperience but it will give you a greater insight in what is required to become a more rounded driver.

Another benefit is when completed to a satisfactory level it contributes toward a discount for car insurance, which, when you are young and inexperienced especially, can be high.
